Your subconscious is responsible for everything that happens to you. Every thought you have, every word you say, every action you take, every image you make, every sound you hear, every dream you have, and eventually, every belief you hold is the direction you provide to the subconscious power. The subconscious is undirected power, and it is up to your conscious mind to direct that force. The subconscious can't tell the difference between what's healthy for you and what's harmful for you, so it just does whatever you tell it to.
Talk with your subconscious mind
Because it should be done with emotions, communicating thoughts from your conscious mind to your subconscious mind is tough. Only genuine emotions conveyed concepts make it to the back of your mind. Only the notions that are supported by a strong emotion remain. This is true for both negative and pleasant feelings. Unfortunately, negative feelings are typically greater than happy emotions.
· Fear and self-defeating thoughts
The first step in utilizing the subconscious mind's power is to eliminate unpleasant emotions-laden ideas. You must also put an end to negative self-talk, or at the very least ensure that it is free of emotions. Your concerns are more likely to come true if you are really upset about them. This is why negative self-talk may have such terrible consequences. Eliminating or counteracting negative ideas as soon as feasible is a critical step toward success.
· The approach for denial
The counter approach is one of the most effective ways to reduce negative self-talk. When a bad thought enters your mind, you immediately counter it with an intense good thinking. If you have a big presentation coming up and you're thinking to yourself, "I'm going to embarrass myself in front of all those people," quickly counter it with, "NO! I'm going to be so wonderful that the audience will get up and clap for five minutes."The truth is usually somewhere in the middle.
· The technique of the delete button
The erase button is another effective tool for combating negative self-talk. When a bad idea enters your head, visualize how the thought, written on a sheet of paper, gets erased by pressing the delete button in your mind. You might also visualize yourself shattering the bad notion with your fist in your mind.
